On the 8th of August 1980 Kaunertal Glacier opened as the fourth of five glacier skiing areas in Tyrol, Austria. Each October winter sports enthusiasts celebrate the new winter season at the Kaunertal Opening.

ARTICO was invited by advertising agency Somaland to produce social media clips of the 2020 Kaunertal Opening. Just in time for the event, Kaunertal experienced the season’s first snowfall.

At the event, ARTICO met freestyle talent Jannis Hoffmann. Being a content creator himself, Jannis was down for a filming session at the Snowpark Kaunertal, showing some of his best tricks.
